  • About 232 Music Studios

    Hi, I'm Drew!

I began teaching piano lessons in 2007 at a Music Academy and haven't stopped since. I love seeing kids find new ways to express themselves and I also love giving kids the opportunity to see what they are capable of achieving. Music is undoubtedly hard work and takes a lot of time, focus and perseverance. But the payoff in the end is more than worth it.

Here's a little more information about me but first I want to say there's a reason I put these last paragraphs at the bottom because ultimately piano lessons aren't ABOUT ME at all! They are about YOU and what you want to accomplish. I've built up enough experience over the years to know that music manifests itself in many different ways. What's most important is finding the gift inside of you and helping you be the best musician you can be. I'm your coach, your mentor and I can't wait to see you succeed!

I started playing piano when I was seventeen and my love and appreciation for music has grown ever since. The emotion and passion I found in the piano allowed me to express myself in a way that gave me a profound new understanding of myself and music.

Since 2006, I have played and toured with many different artists and bands that cover a variety of different styles and genres. I have played with rock bands (Abandonato, Year Seven), pop/rock bands (Tyler Ward), singer/songwriters (Sean Waldron, Kellie Prophet), indie artists (Eric Squires, Hillary Gruener), jazz vocalists (Vivian Gail), country artists (Tonja Rose), Christian/gospel artist (Gavin Tait), and have also accompanied the Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble at Colorado State University – Pueblo. I was also the Music Director for the “Tyler Ward and Crew” Band during their tour across North America in 2011 and for Red Rock Church in 2010.

I am currently the Music Director at Alethia Church where I lead a team of musicians at the church by equipping them to know the musical concepts and understand the spiritual elements of leading a congregation in worship. I have also produced, engineered and recorded music for several different artists and have discovered a passion for helping develop artists and their songs. This passion for helping others is what has guided him to teaching. He loves giving the gift of music to others which is what drives him in his educational pursuits. He graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo with a BA in Music which has only furthered that passion as an educator of the arts.
